| The Basilica di San Marco is one of the greatest buildings in Europe, dominated by five Orientals domes. Romanesque carvings adorn the five rounded arches protrupding into the square. A delicate marble railing separates the ground floor level from the upper one with the famous gilded bronze horses. |
