| Burano is the most colorful of the lagoon islands (Murano, Burano and Torcello), and can be distinguished from a distance by the tilting tower of its church. The main thoroughfare is Via Baldassare Galuppi, named after the Burano-born composer. Lace is to Burano what glass is to Murano. |
