| Outside the gates Brancoveanu had the chapel of St. Michael built for the people of the village. The monastic complex also includes Dionisie's fire-tower, built in 1753, with its finely carved columns and stone balustrade, and , set apart to the north and west, the small hermitages of the Holy Apostles and St. Stephen, built in 1700 and 1703 respectively. | |||||||||||||||||||||
