| Budesti is one of the most beautiful villages in Maramures. The church built in 1643, has four small turrets surrounding the main steeple. Its treasure, displayed in the church includes a collection of icons on glass dating from 1766, the 18th century painting of the Last Judgment and the undershirt of the most famous 17th century inhabitant, Grigore Pintea Viteazul. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
