Wooden church in Budesti  (17th century)
Budesti is one of the most beautiful villages in Maramures. The church built in 1643, has four small turrets surrounding the main steeple. Its treasure, displayed in the church includes a collection of icons on glass dating from 1766, the 18th century painting of the Last Judgment and the undershirt of the most famous 17th century inhabitant, Grigore Pintea Viteazul.
