| The Council Tower (1588) links Piata Mare with its smaller square Piata Mica. Walk along Piata Mare to the baroque Roman Catholic Cathedral built between 1726-1733 by a Jesuit order. There is a funerary monument inside the church of the general commander Otto Fredinand, Count of Abensberg (1677-1747), who served as military commander of Transylvania (1744-1747). |
