| ASTRA - The Transylvanian Association for Art and Literature, a society that encouraged Romanians in Transylvania to value their own cultural horizons and political identity was founded in 1861. The first congress of ASTRA was held in October 1861 at Str. Mitropoliei 20. In 1905, ASTRA opned a library and museum overlooking the park in a fine building at Str. Lupus 5. |
