Sibiu -Photo by Ovidiu Sopa
Piata Huet (Grivita) was the site of Sibiu's first oval-shaped citadel. The Evangelican Church, with its five-pointed towers, was a Catholic church before the Protestant revolution. Inside are four magnificent Baroque funerary monuments on the upper nave and the 1772 organ with 6002 pipes. The tomb of Prince Mihnea the Bad (1510), son of Vlad Tepes, is in the closed-off section behind the organ.
