| The 18th century Brukenthal Palace at Piata Mare 5, was the home of Samuel von Brukenthal, the imperial governor of Transylvania from 1777 to 1787. Designed by a Viennese architect in a refined late Baroque style, the palace now houses Brukenthal's own collections and modernist work from the ASTRA Museum. |
