Trinita dei Monti Church
Rome - Trinita dei Monti Church
Trinita dei Monti is a church with two cupolas dating from 1495, at the top of the charming Monumental Spanish Steps (1722). An obelisk, found in the gardens of Sallust in 1808, rises in front of the church. At the foot of the steps is the fine fountains of the "Barcaccia" by Pietro Bernini. Piazza di Spagna and the Spanish Steps have been at the heart of tourist's Rome since the 18th century.
