Busseto - The Pallavicino Fortress
Busseto it's the village where Verdi moved when he was 10 years old in order to attend the grammar school.
The Pallavicino Fortress dating back to the 13th century, face the central square of the city, named after Giuseppe Verdi. The fort was restored in the second half of 1800 to accommodate the Verdi Theatre, which was inaugurated on August 15th 1868.
