| The Prime Minister Du Tillot ordered the construction of the large boulevard and the Casino and entrusted their realization to the court architect Petitot in 1759. The Casino was intended as a place of leisure and a meeting place similar to the Parisian Cafes and was inaugurated on June 24, 1766. |
