| La Cittadella |
 |
| Cittadella fortress construction started in 1591 under Alessandro Farnese rule and was terminated by Alessandro's son Ranuccio. Used in the beginning as a prison and later as army barracks, the Cittadella is today a public park. From the old structure are left only the pentagonal walls and the entrance portal. |
