| The Baptistery |

| Benedetto Antelami realized the Baptistery's northern portal. There are four elegant columns on the sides, supporting four decorations of the sprayed arch and the architrave dividing the jambs from the upper lunette. In the architrave biblical scenes surmount Latin writings referring to Benedetto Antelami and the year works began (1196). |
