| Hotel de Ville is the seat of the city's local government, a 19th century reconstruction of the 17th century town hall that was burned down in 1871. One whole floor is the private apartment of the mayor.Inside the Hotel de Ville are salons devoted to arts, literature, science, grand halls for receptions and an impresive ballroom. |
