| Cetatuia Monastery was founded by Prince Gheorghe Duca (1665-1666 and 1668-1672). The complex was finished in 1672, the year of Duca's death, and both the prince and his wife are buried inside the church. The fortified buildings are impressive and the hilltop gives you a splendid panoramic view of Iasi and the countryside. |
