| Each year the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh travels by coach from Buckingham Palace to deliver a speech from the House of Lords at Palace of Westminster, which outlines the government's plans. This is proceed by an inspection by the "Yeoman of the Guard". A legacy from Guy Fawkes Gunpowder Plot, 5th November 1605. |
