| Hobita, 24km west of Targu Jiu, is Constantin Brancusi 's birthplace, a traditional three room cottage, surrounded by plum and cherry trees, turned into a memorial house. The museum displays letters documenting the sculptor's life, photographs, ceramics and textiles. |
