| The Schlossturm Tower |

| The Schlossturm Tower is all that remained of the Schloss after the devastating fire of 1872. In fine weather, the steps next to the tower are a happening gathering spot. Since the road along the Rhine bank was routed underground, Burgplatz with its large beer garden is a very popular venue for performers and spectators. |
