| The boldest building designed and built in 1920's, the Wilhelm-Marx Haus, was named after lord mayor of Dusseldorf who was Reich Chancellor. The building was designed by architect Wilhelm Kreis and was inaugurated in 1924 as Germany's first skyscraper, 56 metres tall. |
