| The museum is housed in the former building of the Post Office Palace, a neoclassical architectonic edifice built between 1894-1900, designed by Alexandru Savulescu. 600,000 exhibits of historic and artistic value are on display in the different sections of the museum: modern and contemporary history, numismatics, and the thesaurus. |
