| The Crucifix's church was used to display the relics to the people and the sarcophagi of Saints Zama and Faustinians. In the inside, one can see a Pieta by Angelo Gabriello Pio (1690-1769), the elegant raised ark by Nicolo Aldrovandi (1438) and in the presbytery restructed in 1637 by architect Ottaviano Mascherino, two frescoes by Jacopo di Paolo from early 15th century. The crypt was built in 1019 for the abbot Martino and one of its column marks the height of Jesus. |
